Editorial standard · Correction status: open

Corrections are part of the assurance model.

If a record misstates a mechanism, omits a material caveat, or relies on an obsolete source revision, we want the smallest possible interval between discovery and correction.

01

Submit a correction

Email corrections@consortiumforverifiedcomputing.org with the stable record ID, disputed text, primary-source locator, and proposed correction. Polite correspondence is welcome but not technically necessary.

02

Disposition

01

Acknowledge

Log the submission and identify the affected record version.

02

Reproduce

Review the cited source and any newer public revision.

03

Correct

Update the record, scores, or caveats and document the change.

03

What receives a correction

Factual errors, misleading paraphrases, missing caveats that change the claim boundary, broken source links, and material changes in a source revision. Differences of editorial judgment are recorded when they reveal a genuine ambiguity; the presence of a joke remains regrettably non-correctable.
